We got the chance to see this 2018 youngster this past weekend and he didn’t know disappoint at all, he is without a doubt a D1 caliber player. After an impressive performance we got the chance to catch up with him and ask a few questions about his experience on the PowerAde circuit and how recruitment is has been going.
Q: How’s the experience on the PowerAde circuit been for you so far?
Anthony: It’s something new, some people feel like it’s not a lot of competition but it’s a good amount of talent here.
Q: Watching you play it seems like you look to score the ball from all areas of the floor, what do you feel that you do well? And what do you feel you can bring to the college level skill wise?
Anthony: I can do some of everything, I can defend well, and I give a lot of effort on the court and like you said and score the ball well. Basically I can bring different things at the different position that I’m placed at.
Q: What’s your college interest been like so far?
Anthony: University Of Detroit and Oakland University, Detroit has told me to come to their Elite Camp, but that’s about it so far.
Q: Do you have any game day rituals or traditions that you do?
Anthony: I listen to a couple of local Detroit artist, they aren’t people that people in North Carolina would know about yet though.
Q: Favorite Sneaker to play in?
Anthony: That’s a tough one, I would probably say Kobe’s.
Q: One player in college or NBA that you would say you look up to or try to take things from their game, who would you say it would be?
Anthony: I would probably say Dennis Smith, I watched him a lot at NC State. In the NBA, I really don’t have one right now.
Q: What some of the factors that you will look for in making your college decision?
Anthony: The environment and the coaching staff, I’m looking for a coaching staff where it feels like I’m a part of a family.
