Live Period III: 2018 Recruiting
The third live period is over and the coaches have seen all they can see. Now, they return home and make final decisions on their first wave of offers this summer. Many players in Indiana have picked up offers and some, they picked up many offers. Here is a recap of the last week of the July Live Periods.
Kevin Easley – Lawrence North (IN) – Georgia State, Northern Kentucky, UT-Martin
Myja White – Brebeuf Jesuit (IN) – Florida Southern, Ball State
Aaron Henry – Ben Davis (IN) – Virginia Tech, Illinois, TCU, Ohio State, Washington State
Lucas Lehrman – Bishop Dwenger (IN) – Indiana Tech
Breakdown: The final week of the July Live Periods put a stamp on things in Indiana. Guys made good choices and produced and now we are seeing the fruits of their labor. The biggest name to draw in more offers this week was Ben Davis (IN) wing Aaron Henry. The 6’6 wing was outstanding in nearly every game we saw in Milwaukee the previous week and was deserving of a bump in offers. Now, he has massive HM interest from all over the country and is one of the longest list of offers in the country.
Another standout was Kevin Easley who reestablished his value by landing three more offers since last week. He’s really gotten things right and has played well enough to demand attention. Same for Myja White who picked up a MAC offer and a high-end DII offer.
The last offer came for Bishop Dwenger (IN) big man Lucas Lehrman who got his second one from Indiana Tech. They join Lourdes as the two schools to pull the trigger. Not many non-DI offers went out over this month but Lehrman has two of them in his pocket now.
