Bluff City LIVE: Top Passers
Bluff City LIVE enabled numerous Tennessee talents to compete in front of college coaches.
2020 PG Lawrence Pack (Memphis Showtime 2020) — Pack sees the forward options very well. Of course, AAU basketball tends to be open floor and fastbreak heavy. In this setting, Pack certainly thrived. He makes quick, accurate evaluations with the basketball and relishes in his teammates’ finishes. He has the perfect mentality for a point guard.
2020 PG Joshua Stinson (M33M Elite 15u) — Stinson likes to dive into the lane and kick out. He needs to improve his handling of full court pressure, but in the halfcourt Stinson is a terror. His court vision gives him an advantage in tight spaces.
2020 PG Spencer Stalnaker (M33M Elite 15u) – Stalnaker is tough to rattle. He always has his head up, evaluating the options. The young point guard understands traps and provides his coach a voice on the floor. His bravery helped M33M handle a difficult 1-2-2 Team Thad press.
2018 G Christian Jones (Team Thad 17u) — Christian Jones (Southwind HS) gets overlooked by Team Thad observers, but his coaches know how valuable the guard is to the mission. Jones’ lobs are pinpoint (pictured left). He developed a special cohesiveness with Tavin Lovan in July. Jones fed the expert finisher out on the break numerous times during Bluff City LIVE.
2018 PG Tyler Harris (Team Thad 17u) — So many of Harris’ plays are quicker than the eye. Most of his passes are simple, but effective. He made a point of feeding Rodgerick Brown. The success rate of his passes are high. When Harris elects to distribute he makes quality calculations.
2018 G Caleb Fields (Team Carroll 17u) — A strong, bouncy floor general, Caleb Fields activated as the Team Carroll lead guard. His handles put him in dangerous positions on the floor. Fields can certainly improve as a creator for others, but he has the capacity for greatness as a passer. He really absorbs contact and creates defensive collapses routinely.
