Big Shots – Myrtle Beach 4 – West Virginia kids
Prep Hoops SC had a chance to see several players from the State of West Virginia this past weekend in Myrtle Beach, SC. Here is a look at some of those prospects in this article right here.
Anthony Pittman (2018) Capital HS (Charleston, WV) / West Virginia Wildcats 2018
Pittman we first saw during the Big Shots-Myrtle Beach 3 session. Pittman a very athletic wing player isn’t very skilled but sure does have a high ceiling. Pittman a big-time football wide receiver excels in the transition game. Pittman 6’4 really rebounds the ball ell out of his area on both ends of the floor.
Nasir Harris (2018) Capital HS (Charleston, WV) / West Virginia Wildcats 2018
Harris 5’9 point guard swarms the ball on the defensive end of the floor. Harris hit on a few floaters in the lane today. Harris is always looking to make that extra pass to find one of his teammates.
Cameron Allen (2018) South Charleston HS (Charleston, WV) / West Virginia Reign Elite 17U
Allen had a good weekend knocking down shots from all over the floor. Allen at times forces some shots on the floor. Allen looks to score the ball and can do just that. Allen averaged 25 ppg in Big Shots-MB 4 session. Allen scored 30 points vs Big Shots South Carolina.
Isaiah Francis (2018) Woodrow Wilson HS (Beckley, WV) / West Virginia Reign Elite 17U
Francis will be heading into 2018 class now after just finishing his career at Woodrow Wilson HS. Francis has a great knack to get to the foul line alot during the game. Francis averaged 21.3 ppg in the last session here. Francis averaged 18 ppg this season at Woodrow Wilson HS.
Charles Castleberry (2020) George Washington HS (Charleston, WV) / West Virginia Wildcats Select Blue 15U
Castleberry 6’1 plays at very easy pace on the floor. Castleberry hit several shots today and always found the open man on the offensive end of the floor.
Nate Vance (2020) Winfield HS (Winfield, WV) / West Virginia Wildcats Select Blue 15U
Vance played in the post and was constantly on the move. Vance 6’4 would challenge shots on the defensive end of the floor. Vance with a long wingspan would clean up on the glass on both ends of the floor.
