Baden I-85 Circuit Finals Stock Risers
Prep Hoops SC takes a look at some the latest version of Stock Risers from the Baden I-85 Circuit Finals.
Vinnie Vianna (2018) – North Springs Charter School / North Atlanta Orangemen 17U – Orange
Vianna is a human floor burn and constantly in the right position on the floor. Vianna was first seen a few years back at a AAU event and still to this day plays the same. Vianna has been in the United States for quite awhile is of Brazilian descent.
Vianna stuffs the stat sheet in performance every night he touches the floor. Vianna likes to use the bounce pass and usually shoots the ball from 12-14 feet on a consistent basis. Vianna logs a lot of minutes for the North Atlanta Orangemen and never seems to leave the floor. Vianna averaged 20.7 ppg and 4.7 rebounds this past season.
Malique Jacobs (2018) – Bull City Prep (Durham, NC) / Flight 22 Premier
Jacobs helped Flight 22 Premier win the championship here today by scoring just 12 points in the game. Jacobs does all the all little generally coming off the bench as a 6th man for Tiger Aldrich’s squad. Jacobs rebounds the ball very well on both ends of the floor and likes to have the ball in his hands during transition.
Jacobs started off his high school career at New Hanover HS before going to Bull City Prep last season. Jacobs has a great feel for the game and has the ability to recognize decisions on the floor.
Ladarrius Foster (2018) – Gaffney HS (Gaffney, SC) / Upward Stars Upstate White 17U
Foster had a big tourney for his squad. Foster 6’4 finished on both ends of the floor if it meant rebounding the ball or scoring it in the low post. Foster is a great mismatch guy on the offensive end especially when he can take a bigger post off the dribble. Foster scored 29 points in a Upward Stars Upstate White 17U victory today.
Foster worked the baseline and scored ALL of his points within 2-4 feet from the basket.
Delis Boggs-Smith (2018) – Woodcreek HS (Roseville, CA) / Upward Stars Upstate Blue 17U
Boggs-Smith played his freshman season at J.L. Mann HS (Greenville) and then his sophomore season at Chico HS (Chico, CA). Boggs-Smith came back to the East Coast to play AAU ball this summer. Boggs-Smith averaged 5.5 ppg this season at Woodcreek HS. The Timberwolves finished the season at 32-3 this year.
Boggs-Smith scored at will at the rim and from mid-range for the Upward Stars Upstate Blue squad this week. Boggs-Smith a point guard is a fluid shooter on the floor.
