Adidas Gauntlet Finale (Spartanburg): Twenty Two Vision (17u) falls to AC Georgia
The Adidas Gauntlet series is in its Finale stages in Spartanburg, South Carolina. The event started last night and really heats up today. Prep Hoops Kentucky looks to update you on all the action featuring programs and prospects from the Bluegrass State.
Twenty Two Vision (out of Northern Kentucky) fell early Thursday in their first round match-up against AC Georgia, 57-67. Indiana all-star and national phenom Romeo Langford (New Albany, IN) saw limited action due to some issues with back pain. Kentucky, Duke, Indiana, and UCLA were programs in attendance to see Langford and Twenty Two Vision take the court.
Mercer County’s Trevon Faulkner led Twenty Two Vision in scoring in Langford’s absence, scoring 13 points in 18 minutes. He knocked down three 3’s and had 6 rebounds in the contest, as well. Western Kentucky was in attendance to watch Faulkner.
John Hardin High School’s Mickey Pearson scored 9 points – while Adam Kunkel (Cooper) and Zach Kelch (Simon Kenton) also saw minutes.
Twenty Two Vision will take on Chuck Hayes Basketball later today at 4:40 pm on Court 1 of the Upward Stars Center.
