2017 “DOUBLE PUMP (best of summer)” Anaheim, California – Team Notes
The Double Pump tournament is in full swing as some of our top team compete in one of the most nationally recognized tournaments in the country. The tournament started on July 20th and will run until July 23rd. Here is a look at each division (17u through 15u) and how the first day has gone so far in the win/loss column.
17U Double Pump Division:
Washington Elite 17U out of Kenmore, Washington – started off slow and lost Thursday to a very good Triple Threat EA team. As of Friday Washington elite has taking another two losses and they are now 0-3. After winning their last two games on Saturday against IEBP silver by forfeit and beating EBA pharoahs, they fought hard and lost to Tru Heat in the silver consolation round. Washington elite lost their final game against triple threat.
FOH Seattle Team Lavine out of Bellevue, Washington – started off with a loss Thursday against BCI Select. Going 1-1 on Friday has given Team Lavine and opportunity to head to the championship in their bracket. Suffering a loss against California United they bounced back and beat Chuck Hayes basketball. After being defeated by Team Eleate in the Open championship bracket they placed second for the tournament. Losing by 11 points in the championship round two BTI Select.
Local Hoops out of Seattle, Washington – started off with a 52-43 win on Thursday against a stacked Houston Topguns squad. Local who is currently sitting at 0-2 for Friday. Going to 2-0 in their last two games on Saturday beating friends of hoop Seattle red and lights out basketball they will be playing in the open gold consolation bracket at 12:30 PM. Losing to Ptech in the consolation gold bracket local Hoops ended up winning against Houston top guns in the final game.
Tacoma Swish – Cotton out of Tacoma, Washington – started off with a win on Thursday beating Los Angeles Elite White by one point 55-54. 1-1 on Friday Will put them in the gold division championship for their bracket. Winning in the semi finals game they lost in the championship gold division against Seattle pride Elite which put them in second place. In their final game for third place, Tacoma swish wins against Los Angeles elite white.
FOH Seattle 17U Red out of Bellevue, Washington – started off with a loss against Washington’s own EBC Elite 17U 56-53. Two losses has knocked them out of the championship discussion as of Friday. After suffering two more losses Saturday afternoon they went 0-4 for the tournament placing them in last in pool p.
Seattle Swish-Brown out of Tacoma, Washington – started off with a win this Thursday against San Diego All Stars Elite 17U 53-44. Going 1-1 on Friday has catapulted them into the gold championship division in their bracket. They are currently sitting at 5-1 for the tournament and will be playing in the gold championship division at 10:10 AM. Seattle switch Wednesday championship for the 17u bracket against San Diego all stars elite.
Eastern Washington 16U Black and Red out of Spokane, Washington – black started off with a win against EBA Pharaohs Platinum 56-48 and red started off with a 3 point victory against the Cali Rebels 17U Elite. Team black took two losses on Friday and team red went 0-2 as well. Team black finished the tournament 1-4 and team red finished the tournament 3-3 sitting at fourth place in pool h.
16U Double Pump Division:
Local Hoops out of Seattle, Washington – started off with a 45-32 win against the OGP Elite Black. With one win and a win by forfeit local hoops will be heading into the championship for their bracket. After a forfeit win local hoops went on to win the next two games and then losing to California united in the championship bracket for their division placing themselves in second place.
WA Elite 16U out of Kenmore, Washington – received a win due to their first game being a forfeit by the other team called the Tuscan Power 2019. It looks like Washington elite has forfeited both of their games on Friday and will no longer compete in the tournament.
Eastern Washington 16U Grey and White out of Spokane, Washington – white starting off with a 78-43 victory against Team Inland. Team grey started with a blowout loss against Lakeshow 16’s. Team Gray won both their games on Friday and will be playing in the championship in their bracket. Team White has also won both of their games and will compete in the championship for their bracket as well. Team Gray won their last three games yesterday and lost to team harden in the championship bracket for 16u. Team White went 1-1 Saturday afternoon and lost in the championship bracket for their division.
Elite Sports Academy Grey out of Seattle, Washington – started off with a loss against Idaho Select (orange). 1-1 for the day on Friday will put them into consolation play for second and third place in their division. Going 1-1 again on Saturday’s games and then losing against Idaho select orange puts them at 2-3 for the tournament.
15U Double Pump Division:
Eastern Washington Elite 15U Blue, Gold and green out of Spokane, Washington – team gold and green both started with a loss while blue was able to start the tourney with a blow out win against OGP Elite. Team blue won both of their games and they will play in the championship in their division. Team gold also won both of their games and will play in the championship in their division. Team Green lost both of their games and will be playing for third and fourth place in their division. Team blue won their semi finals match up against Cali Rebels but lost in the championship round against pump n run elite. They placed second for the tournament.
Elite Sports Academy 15U out of Seattle, Washington – started off with a win against M-State. On Friday they went 2-0 and will play in the championship in their division. Winning their semi finals game against prodigy they played in the championship game against Washington supreme and lost which put them at second place for the tournament. Elite sports Academy loses to Washington supreme in the championship game and finish second for the tournament.
Fusion Elite Basketball out of Everett Washington – started off with a loss against Gamepoint 14U. Suffering two losses has knocked them into the consolation games for their bracket. Going 1-1 in the last two games on Friday they play in the consolation round on Saturday morning and then lost to Washington elite for the 15u bracket.
Local Hoops out of Seattle, Washington – was awarded a win due to the Tuscan Heat falling out of the tournament. Local Hawks won both their games on Friday and will be playing in the championship in their division. Local hoops went 2-0 in their last two games and would have played in the championship but forfeited the game to Idaho select purple.
WA Elite 15U out of Kenmore, Washington – started off with a win against the California Bearcats. Suffering two losses has lock them into the consolation round for their division. Went 1-1 in their last two games was placed them in the consolation round. They ended up winning both of their consolation round games and then losing their last game to the lakeshow elite.
EBC Elite 15U out of Redmond, Washington – was awarded a win due to the other team forfeiting their game. Winning both of their games convincingly they will be playing in the championship round for their division. Going 3-0 in their last three games they played in the championship round against Idaho select and lost by two points putting them at second place for the tournament.
WA Supreme 15U out of Tacoma Washington – started off with a blow out win against the Stanco Stampede 72-24. Washington supreme has been blowing their teams out by an average of 35 points per game and as it looks right now they will have a cake walk through the championship and should bring home the crown. Beating team Lillard by 13 points they will be playing in the semi finals game against pump and run elite. Washington supreme wins their next two games including the championship game against bay area mamas elite and take the crown as the champions for the 15u divsion.
