USBA June Jam Standouts Part 1
LBA Thunder 2019 F Anthony Brewington: Anthony played well throughout the event he provided a big bodied presence inside for the LBA squad, although he is only in the 6’3 height range he plays much bigger and has a thick but muscular frame. He uses his head and shot fakes well and initiates contact to draw fouls against opponents who are taller but thinner than he is.
LBA Thunder 2019 Guard Jace Freeman: Was one of the primary ball handlers for the LBA squad, he has a smooth shooting stroke so he has the ability to play the PG and SG spot. He shot the ball well from three point land and was solid getting into the paint to make plays for others.
LBA Thunder 2019 Guard E.J Bethea: This is our second time getting to see EJ play, at 6’3 with a nice wingspan he’s a solid looking player for a guard. He started off the game with a bit of cold shooting from downtown but as the game went on he got better and knocked down back to back treys to give LBA a bigger lead.
D.C Cobras 2020 Forward Lavell Davis: Although he is already a big time college football prospect, he showed that he can play the game of basketball as well, he rebounded the ball at a very high rate and scored inside with ease. He brings a swagger to the game that not only give himself confidence but also gives confidence to his teammates.
D.C Cobras 2021 Guard Kaden Bryant: He just completed his 8th grade year but played up in this event against older competition, despite being one of the younger players on the floor, he found a way to impact the game. He knocked down the trey ball at a very high rate, he was especially productive in catch and shoot situations.
