USBA June Jam Part 2
Fayetteville Flash 2019 Forward Miles Ray: Ray has just recently transferred in to Northwood Temple, and as time goes on we can fully expect him to be a solid player for them. The lefty has a smooth stroke to go along with the ability to get into the paint and finish around the rim. He also has the ability to handle the ball which allows him to be a pretty versatile player.
D.C Cobras 2017 Jordan White: One of the fastest players at the event, Jordan got to where he wanted, just about whenever he wanted. He does a good job of being a floor general, setting up teammates offensively and leading by actions on the defensive end off the floor, decent shooter as well.
D.C Cobras 2017 Davan Wilson: Davan is another player that has found success on the football field but is a talented basketball player, he set hard screens, battled for rebounds, and was productive in pick and roll situations. He’s what we call an inside/out player, he began the game scoring inside and as the game went on he made more plays on the wing.
Team Lightning 2017 Guard Tyreke Waldon: Every team needs a floor general and that’s exactly what Tyreke brought for his squad, he got everybody on the team involved and was very vocal throughout. He has solid ball handling skills and is a gifted passer, what impressed me the most was his change of speed and how vocal he was with his teammates.
Team Lightning 2017 Guard Trevor Jenkins: Jenkins is a high flyer and he showed it to all in attendance as he made plays above the rim. What gets overlooked about his game is the ability to shoot the ball from deep which was also on display this past weekend. He knocked down shots from midrange and deep pretty well and although he’s planning to attend Methodist University just as a student the Monarchs may ask him to suit up.
