Recruiting Report: Immanuel Allen (2018)
Lakeridge’s Immanuel Allen a 6’4 195 pound wing with a 40 in vertical leap was the # 1 guy for the Pacers this season. Allen has the ability to do a little of everything on the basketball court and his game is still expanding. Allen led his team in Pts, Reb, Stls, Blks and was second in Assists falling short by 2 total assists on the season for the lead.
“He has a little Lebron in him,” Fred Gold said. Gold is the head coach for Lakeridge High School. “His ability to take over a game and change the path of a game on both sides of the floor. He is an irreplaceable talent on a team,” Gold added.
Immanuel has been playing with Portland Basketball Club and it took time to get adjusted but he has proven to be an offensive threat and a defensive presence for the team. He will be attending the peach jam invitational in Augusta, Georgia
The expansion of his game allowed him to become a first team TRL selection and a honorable mention all state player and he is only getting started. He never wants to be a one dimensional player and his game speaks volumes that.
Allens’s college plans are to go play Division 1 basketball with looks from Stanford, Santa Clara, Cal Berkeley and Pepperdine and Seattle University. With a rabid work ethic and competitive drive working everyday to remove all flaws from his game the future is bright for him.
