Recruiting Report: Adam Hardman (2017)
Anything is possible with hard work, grit and determination. This is especially true for Adam Hardman. Hardman went from JV2 as a freshmen year to Varsity senior year at Lakeridge High School. While his stock has boosted significantly over his career, he remains unsigned.
Hardman is a 6’4, 205 pound power forward for the Lakeridge pacers. “Adam is a strong physical player that isn’t scared to get down and dirty. He has good touch around the rim and can use either hand to finish his hook shots.” says head coach Fred Gold. He was one of 3 players to start consistently every game. It took a lot for Hardman to get to where he is. He has unbelievable work ethic. Summer leading up to senior year Hardman spent his time in the gym 2 1/ hours a day, 5-6 days a week working on his game. “He would always call me. I remember almost getting a call every day having Adam ask if I could come rebound for him or work him out. How much time he invested in the gym blew my mind.” Team manager Jimmy Li said.
Adam had a very successful spring season with Team Fly and is looking to make one more strong push this upcoming summer. His off season consist of spending time working with his AAU coaches and getting in the gym and weight room as much as possible.
This past season Hardman was awarded with “Top 40 breakout players in Oregon High school basketball” Adam said “People had no clue who I was 2 years ago, with that being said anything is possible with hard work.”
