NTBA Summer Jam Tournament Standouts: C/O 2018 & 2019 Part 2
Fayetteville Elite 2018 Malik Johnson: If there was a MVP of the event, Malik Johnson would have to be in the mix for it, he’s picked up two D1 offers this spring and you don’t have to watch him long to see how it’s done. He has a nice mixture of talent and flair to his game, he can score it well and doesn’t back down from any challenge he is faced with.
Rock City Thunder 2018 Chris Jones: There is a saying that you can teach height, well that’s the truth for this young man, he’s raw offensively but has nice size already and will continue to get better as time goes on. He already rebounds the ball and blocks shots at a high rate, at 6’6+ he is one that you can work with over the next year and he will can be dangerous.
Fayetteville Stars 2019 Guard Trevon Bell: Trevon hit a growth spurt recently and now his overall game and potential is beginning to show. He is a slasher type of player, knows how to get in the paint well, and has improved shooting the ball.
SEBL 2019 Forward Dillion Butler: At 6’5 with an ability to shoot the ball well, Dylan was one to catch our eye pretty quickly, he has a slender frame but has a nice skill set. He’s definitely one to keep a close eye on as time goes on.
SEBL Guard 2019 Eli Hudson: Got it going, knocking down the trey ball as the game went along, he has a smooth shooting stroke and once he gets hot he doesn’t miss too many shots.
SEBL Wing 2019 Marcus Owen: Still learning the game and getting better, has nice size and length to play on the wing at 6’4. On defense is where he impressed greatly as he is a versatile defender, he can guard stretch forward as well as bigs inside.
