Fox Creek Jamboree
Prep Hoops took in the action from Fox Creek High School in North Augusta recently. Here are the kids that stood out in performance while we were here today.
Dreshon Carter Fox Creek HS (North Augusta) 2018
Carter 6’0 combo guard plays football and basketball for the Predators. Carter plays very aggressive on the defense end. Carter has the ability to attack the rack or shoot the 15 foot jumper.Carter will be depended on for the Predators, after the loss of Rod Culver from last season team. Carter averaged 7.2 ppg for the Predators.
Ny’gel Boozer Airport HS (West Columbia) 2019
Boozer athletic 6’1 guard drives hard to basket for the Eagles. Boozer plays with South Carolina Kings during the AAU season.
Jadakiss Wright Silver Bluff HS (Aiken) 2019 (photo on the front)
Wright 6’0 combo guard seems to be more of a 2/1 type on the floor. Wright has been bothered this spring with a thigh bruise. Wright is almost 100 percent heeled from it. Wright averaged 12.7 ppg. last season. Wright plays with Aiken Select during the AAU season.
RJ Howell Airport HS (West Columbia) 2020
Howell a very athletic 6’2 combo forward can alter shots the defensive end with his play. Howell’s father Rolando Howell who played at the University of South Carolina for the Gamecocks.
Latavian Lawrence Silver Bluff HS (Aiken) 2020
Lawrence 6’3 forward plays for Team Flight during the AAU season. Lawrence is very athletic and active on the floor. Lawrence is always around the glass for the rebounds and put back. Lawrence can shoot the three ball.
