Fab 40 Camp Recap: Team Above The Rim
Team Above The Rim
A.J Baldwin: One of the best passers at the event, tied the camp record for most assist in a game, also has the ability to score the ball with ease. Outstanding ball handler that doesn’t turn the ball over much, gets after it on defense as well. Signed to Brunswick CC.
Montre Cash: Didn’t have his greatest day performance wise, but showed flashes of how good he can be, can shoot it from deep as well as getting into the paint.
Jarvez Ellis: Ellis is one of the quietest kids you will meet but his game spoke volumes during camp, he was the leading scorer at the event and shot a very high percentage. Will fit in well with any type of offensive scheme at the next level, signed with Chowan.
Nassyr Daniels: Daniels blocked shots at a very high rate, rebounded the ball, and ran the floor. He did everything that you would want to see from a big man, signed with Mars Hill College.
Omari Wilson: Has a college frame already, was productive from midrange and deep, very impressive athletic ability. Brings the same energy on the defensive end as he does offensively, signed with Brunswick CC.
Rashad Royster: A speed PG that got better as the day went on, got into the paint just about whenever he wanted. On the defensive end he is constantly applying pressure, still unsigned at this point.
Shaiquan Moore: Had a quiet day but you could see the potential in him without a doubt, at 6’3 with a nice wingspan and the ability to knock down shots he would be a nice late pickup for a team.
Tavarus Peterson: One of the top shooters at the event, he took home the Camps 3 Point Contest trophy, he has a strong upper body nice quickness to get to his spots. Signed With Sandhills CC
Josh Raiford: One of the only back to the basket bigs that was in the building, doesn’t mid physical play at all, still unsigned but has interest from numerous JUCO programs.
China Jones: China is what we define as a stretch forward, at 6’6 he shot the ball well from deep and can guard multiple positions.
