Coastal Carolina Team Camp – Underclassmen
Prep Hoops SC took in a day of action at the Coastal Carolina University Team Camp in Conway, SC. Prep Hoops is always on the lookout for up and coming talent throughout the country. Prep Hoops SC saw a few players from the Blue Grass State that really stood out this weekend at the camp.
Noah Back (2019) – Perry County Central HS (Hazard) (pictured on front)
Back came out on fire versus West Florence HS (SC) where he started the game with 20 points by halftime with 5 three pointers made. Back a shooting guard finished with 9 three pointers and 30 points in the game. Back needs space for his shot and to set his feet. Back has a good feel for the game but won’t overwhelm you with athleticism.
Back informed Prep Hoops that he runs AAU with Eric Gordon All-Stars (EG10) on the Adidas Gauntlet Series.
D’Andre Reed (2020) – Hazard HS (Hazard)
Reed 6’2 guard recently transferred into Hazard HS from nearby Cordia HS. Reed averaged 13 ppg as a freshman at Cordia HS. Reed originally from Manhattan, NY plays on the AAU circuit with the New York Lightning (EYBL).
Reed was tremendous today getting to the basket at will and creating offense for the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs only had 7 players on the trip to Coastal Carolina University Team Camp. Reed didn’t look to shoot the ball on the perimeter at all today but really played the passing lanes well. Reed came away with several steals on the defensive end.
Logan Hall (2020) – Hazard HS (Hazard)
Hall played well all weekend for the Bulldogs. Hall 6’2 really uses the head-fake well to score the ball. Hall hit some nice mid-range jumpers for the Bulldogs.
Coastal Carolina University put on great basketball camp for 3 days on the campus in Conway, SC. The camp hosted over 60 plus schools throughout the southeast.
