Preston Scott – 6’4” | F | Lapel
Preston Scott was working well around the basket with both hands. He finished well with strength and finesse. He’s feet look quicker this season and he is running the floor well. He still needs to become more confident and comfortable with his jump shot in order to play the forward position. Interesting prospect to keep an eye on.

Austin Boucher – 6’2” | G | North Side
Boucher is making his return to SAC basketball after a year playing in Maryland but he looked great. His jumper from deep in almost automatic and his ball skills have greatly improved. He was the primary ball-handler and offense instigator. Looked comfortable with the ball in his hands and made play after play for the Legends.

Brandan worked well off the ball-screen action in the first day of action at the shootout. His patience and vision has increased while he is still finishing well around the rim. Alijah Long – 5’11” | G | North Side
Long was a pivotal piece for North Side last season on their state runner-up finish and is looking to increase his role this year. He looked more comfortable as a secondary ball handler on day one. His jump shot is becoming more consistent and he is showing the ability to really stretch the floor and create more driving lanes.
Bryson Meek – 6’2” | G | Roncalli
Bryson had his offense working on day one of the shootout. He was the leader and offensive star for Roncalli. His jumper is still showing improvement but he looked better getting to the basket and finishing through contact. Still needs to work on his lateral quickness but is moving in the right direction heading into July.

Kellen Schreiber – 6’4” | F | Roncalli
Schreiber was a force on the glass this past weekend. His quickness and effort put him in position to rebound on both ends of the floor. He finished strong around the basket and defended the paint well on defense. His footwork is still an area of improvement but he will be crucial to Roncalli’s success this season with his presence down low.
Class of 2019
Luke Richardson – 6’5” | F | Lapel
Richardson was a force in the paint on both ends of the floor. He also showed that he has been working on his game away from the basket by knocking down some jumpers from deep. His effort level and toughness set the tone for Lapel. He will be someone to keep an eye on as he continues to develop into a stretch forward.
Noah Smith – 6’1” | G | Hamilton Southeastern
Noah Smith has shown improvement in every aspect of his game. His jump shot is now more of a weapon than a weakness and his athleticism has increased drastically. Smith is a lock-down defender and showed he has the ability to finish above the rim on a couple occasions. Very intriguing guard prospect in the 2019 class.

McCall Ray – 6’0” | G | Bedford North Lawrence
Ray was all over the floor on day one. His effort and toughness of the defensive end of the floor was well documented by his floor burns. Ray is a tough-noised defender and true point guard. He looks to create openings for others on the offensive end of the floor. He finished well around the basket through contact on day one.

Isiah Moore – 5’11” | G | Park Tudor
Isiah Moore had it going from deep early in the shootout. Moore couldn’t be stopped on the offensive end and really looked comfortable making moves off the bounce. After a solid sophomore year, Moore will likely be the focus of most team’s defensive plans but has expanded his game to prepare for that challenge.

Class of 2020
Mabor Majak – 7’1” | F/C | Hamilton Southeastern
Mabor didn’t see much time last year but that didn’t keep him from working on his game. He has shown drastic improvements in his upper-body strength and ball skills. He defended the basket well and rebounded at a productive rate this weekend. Majok is a top prospect with his size and skill set and is still developing into a solid player.

Kyle Shank – 6’4” | F | Hamilton Southeastern
Kyle Shank played extremely well coming off the bench for this team. The wing showed off his athleticism with some rim-raising finishes on the break and proved that he can knock down open jump shots as well. The sophomore-to-be is just starting to realize his potential and is someone to keep a lookout on moving forward.

Kadaphi Honaker – 6’4” | F | Park Tudor
Honaker rebounded the ball well on the defensive end of the floor. His length and athleticism allowed him to high-point the ball. He needs to be more aggressive on the offensive end of the floor but that will come as he continues to work on his footwork. Long, athletic, and developing wing in this 2020 class.
