2019 Rankings Breakdown: Possible Summer Stock Boosters (Part 2)
As the breakdowns for the 2019 player rankings continue, we aim to highlight those who we believe could see an uptick in recruitment this summer.
Below, we run down some possible summer stock boosters that were included in the rankings:
SAVION GALLION | 6’3 G | THURGOOD MARSHALL/DISTRICT BASKETBALL CLUB | #41 OVERALL
Gallion is a strong, confident, and extremely tough wing who can score it from all three levels. He’s always playing hard, and is not afraid to sacrifice his body for the team.
CARLOS DUNN | 5’10 G | WILSON/BUMP N RUN | #44 OVERALL
When considering the top three point shooters in the class, the list is simply not complete without mention of Dunn. Not only is he a threat to strike from long range, but Dunn can also handle the ball, and is very unselfish. He defends well, and rebounds out of his area.
JALIN ABBOTT | 6’5 G | ST. JOHN’S/DC PREMIER | #46 OVERALL
Abbott possesses an intriguing blend of size, skill, and athleticism. AT 6’5, he can dribble, pass, and shoot at a high level. There are only a few players in the class who possess some of the raw tools he has.
PHILLIP JORDAN | 5’10 G | ST. ALBANS/MID ATLANTIC SELECT | #47 OVERALL
Jordan initially caught our attention with his ability to score the ball, and in particular his ability to shoot. We’ve noticed how hard he plays, and admire that about him. Jordan wants to be great, and is learning what it takes to do so. He is a strong competitor, and quite clearly a hard worker.
KEVON BROWN | 6’2 G | MCDONOGH/TEAM THRILL | #50 OVERALL
Brown brings an element of toughness to any back court. He can defend both guard spots, and finishes well in the lane through contact. Brown displays good vision, handle, and passing ability.
