2019 Under-the-Radar Prospects
The class of 2019 has its share of under-the-radar prospects and we have published some articles on those players. The class is strong from top to bottom and PrepHoopsNC felt it necessary to add another article to the list. Here is a look at some more under-the-radar prospects for 2019.
Michael Fowler 6’8 F GDS-Recently received his first D1 offer from Hampton University, still a raw player but as has nice height and potential. Playing under outstanding coaching during the high school and summer time season he will continue to improve and has a chance to be special.
Max Farthing (Twitter)Shawn Walker 6’3 F Wesleyan Christian/Boo Williams-True PG that understands how to get everyone involved while getting his own offense going, has a very long wingspan and nice height for a PG. his IQ for the game is above average without a doubt, the son of a D1 coach and you can clearly tell by the way he runs the show for his team.
Davier Dixon 6’0 G Liberty Heights-Shifty guard who comes to compete everytime he laces them up. Played on a very competitive high school team which helped bring the best out of him, plays the game with a certain on his shoulder which you love to see from a guard. Knows how to make thr right play and knows how to win close game.
Max Farthing 6’5 F Word of God/Team CP3-Stretch forward type of player, can shoot the trey ball well, has a nice long wingspan and good height for a player that can step and play on the wing offensively and defensively. Had numerous games this season where he knocked down a high number of three pointers.
Demetrius Martin 6’1 G Garinger-Athletic guard that can make plays above the rim on both ends of the floor. Plays the game with high energy, has good ballhandling skills and a quick first step that he uses to get by defenders.
Malcolm Morgan 5’8 G Independence/Team Charlotte-Plain and simple, this young man knows how to win games. He isnt the tallest player, but he plays with the type of energy that makes you completly overlook his size. Helped lead his team deep into the playoffs just about every season since he’s been playing varsity basketball. proven winner.
