Breakdown: When it comes to scorers, the class of 2018 is starting to get more and more of them with every day that goes by. The class of 2018 is developing this spring and showing some improvement.
At the top of the list, guys like Mekhi Lairy, Romeo Langford, Eric Hunter, and Aaron Henry lead the way. They have all shown this past year that they can put up major points. It is down the list that starts to get interesting.
One player that has really surprised this past year was Christian Harvey. The 6’1 guard from Richmond (IN) is one of the best driving guards in the state. He’s not a big shooter but you can’t stop him once he gets in the lane and he puts up major points.
Another to watch is that of Hayden Langkabel. The 6’0 Morristown (IN) guard is really tough and is maybe the most creative scorer in the class. He’s a great shooter from behind the arc but his ball handling allows him to get into the lane and pull-up or finish. Gets a ton of defensive turnovers as well for easy points.
The player that has moved up the board the most, however, is Greenwood (IN) guard Eric Moenkhaus. The 6’2 shooter has now developed and rounded out his scoring ability. More balanced and the improved handles have really helped to show all of this off. A guy that small colleges are really talking about.
