#0 – 6′ Myles Tate (CG) Dorman HS – High IQ player that has a great feel for the game. He can get where he needs to go and make the right play. Can score effectively at all 3 levels and has great handles. He averaged 8.7 ppg and shot 38% from behind the arc and was selected to the 5A All-Region team. He and his high school team won the 5A state championship in S.C. Interest from mid-low D1’s and D2’s.
#1 – 6’4 Lucas Jenkins (W) Mtn. Heritage HS – Athletic wing that can put the ball on the floor and score, effective mid and long range shooter, strong rebounder that can defend all 5 positions and he’s not afraid to get on the floor. Runs the court well and can finish in a crowd. Plays as hard as anyone on the team and gives all-out effort. Lucas averaged 10 ppg & 5 rpg as a freshman on varsity and made the All-Conference team.
#3 – 6’3 James Freeman (W) Hickory HS – Very athletic wing that can guard players several inches taller and is the ultimate competitor. He can get to the rim with ease and is a blur in transition. His high school team made it to the semis of the 3A NCHS state playoffs.
#7 – 6’3 Cole Shehan (W) Mtn. Heritage HS – An active player that can defend multiple positions and disrupts constantly. He can rebound and push the ball very well and runs the court as well as anyone. His shooting mechanics have improved greatly this year and he has had a tremendous summer so far.
#10 – 5’11 Callin Randolph (PG) Mtn. Heritage HS – He has a great understanding of the game. Has great court vision and is an effective scoring PG that keeps others involved. Callin averaged 16.5 ppg on varsity as a freshman. He had multiple 30+ point games and shot 40+% from 3 and 91% FT. Made his conferences All-Conference team. Interest from mid-low D1’s & carries an offer from Lees-McRae.
#11 – 6’1 Luke Stankavage (PG) Providence Day School – Out currently due to an injury. He can shoot it with range or finish at the rim. He has great handles and can get where he wants to go and sees the court very well. He is a savy defender that understands the game at a high level on both ends of the court and he competes all out every outing. Luke has good genes…his mom and dad were both collegiate athletes. Interest from mid-low D1’s & D2’s
#12 – 6’6 Davis Amos (WF) Hickory HS – An athletic player that can finish at the rim or step outside for the three ball. Solid rebounder with good bounce. Has all the tools to be a truly special player. His high school team made it to the semis of the 3A NCHS state playoffs.
#20 – 6’5 Nkosi Abernethy (C/F) Hickory HS – He has a big frame to go with his height and is getting better and better at using it to his advantage. He has a very soft touch around the basket and competes for boards.
#22 – 6′ Kristopher Robinson (CG) Lincolnton HS – He’s a versatile combo guard that is smooth as silk. Shoots the ball with ease and looks to move the ball to make the right play.
CJ Plantin#23 – 6’4 CJ Plantin (W) Pendleton HS – He’s a very athetic wing that can board the ball and lead the fastbreak. His athletic ability and length allow him to defend and rebound with the best of them. He’s also an effective shot blocker. His mid-range jumper has improved steadily throughout the summer and it’s going to open up even more driving lanes which is where he excels now. He averaged 12.7 ppg and 11.2 rpg on Pendleton’s varsity team this year and he was named to the All-Region I-AAA team. Interest from mid-low D1’s & 2’s
#30 – 5’10 Axel Holm (CG) Lincoln Charter – Out currently due to an injury. He is an athletic combo guard that has to the ability to shoot with range and finish at the rim. He competes on both ends of the court and is a tough as nails competitor. He and his teammates won the NCHSAA 1A State Championship this past season.
#32 – 6’2 Nishawn Hodge (CG) Comenius School – Is our most versatile player. He can defend multiple positions and play multiple positions on offense, as well. He’s one of our best rebounders and is our glue guy. He can score the basketball at all three levels and is a very unselfish player who wants to win.
#43 – 6’8 Justus Shelton (C/F) Mtn. Heritage HS – Great defensive big that is willing to mix it up. He understands the game at a very high level. He has a great low post game and can finish with multiple moves and is a good post to post passer. Great pedigree, his mother was a college All-American and played in the WNBA. Interest from mid-low D1’s & 2’s
