Stock Risers: 2019 Forward Prospects
The spring session of the AAU circuit is just about over and we are taking a long look at some of the top players we saw this spring. With this, we want to take a look at some of the biggest risers in the class from the last few months. Here are the top 2019 prospects that have improved their stock.
Nate Soltis – 6’5 | SF | Cardinal Ritter (IN) | IE Diesel 2019 – Soltis continues to impress every time we watch. He’s a lot bouncier than we thought and with a little more size, he seems to impact the game more in the post. Long term, he’s got a couple directions he can go and a lot of that will go with his shooting or scoring ability but the upside seems more legit now.
Logan Carter – 6’10 | C | Evansville Mater Dei (IN) | Pocket City 2019 – Carter is a throw back big man with a massive frame and loads of strength. His motor is much better than we could have expected and that is his money maker. With a frame that large, with that kind of motor, that will draw so many schools in a years time.
Trayce Jackson-Davis – 6’8 | PF | Center Grove (IN) | Team Teague 2019 – Jackson-Davis just never has a bad game. He’s so productive now and that consistency has to be accounted for. He’s really adept at scoring in the post and with his team playing up most weekends, this has been even more impressive.
Craig Young – 6’6 | SF | 2019 | Fort Wayne Wayne (IN) | Spiece Indy Heat 2019 – Young is a guy we have kind of been waiting on to show production. It’s a catch-22 at this point though with him stepping up because so has his football recruitment. Built more around size and athleticism, he’s impressive in a lot of sports but his talent make take him to the gridiron.
