Stock Risers: 2018 Wing Prospects
With the spring about over, we are taking a look at some of the top prospects from around the state. Many have improved since this last high school period and we are here to highlight those. Here are our 2018 Stock Risers this spring.
Aaron Henry – 6’6 | SF | 2018 | Ben Davis (IN) | Indiana PROS 2018 – Henry is one of the easier picks as a stock riser. He’s really improved his body recently and that is showing up in all areas of his game. The jumper is as good as ever. This together has made him a guy that should breakout sooner rather than later.
Jarron Coleman – 6’5 | SF | 2018 | Cathedral (IN) | Indy Heat 2018 EYBL – Coleman has taken some steps in his game this spring. Playing more patient and reeling in some of his offense has made him more appealing. He’s always been skilled but doing so with efficiency is the key and he’s taken big steps towards that this spring.
Musa Jallow – 6’6 | SG | 2018 | Bloomington North (IN) | Team Blaze Select 2018 – Jallow has really packaged everything together this spring. Always had the athleticism and his jumper has been solid the last year. The big key was the ball handling ability and then bringing all of his skills to the table at once. We have seen it all this spring.
Dontez Raynor – 6’4 | SF | 2018 | Indianapolis Lighthouse (IN) | Indiana Legends 2018 – Raynor was a guy that jumped on our radar this past high school season and now he looks like a legit player to watch in the class. He’s doing it against a higher level of talent and that makes you feel more comfortable with his ceiling.
De’Avion Washington – 6’3 | SG | 2018 | Terre Haute South (IN) | G3 Grind 2018 – Washington only needed a few tweaks to his game, namely his jumper and ball handling. The jumper looks more clean and fluid, best off the catch. His ball handling has taken off and now he’s much more creative in the halfcourt setting with his ability to drive.
Eric Moenkhaus – 6’2 | SG | 2018 | Greenwood (IN) | IE Force 2018 – Moenkhaus has been a popular name this spring among small school programs. He’s a big guard that can score in many ways. Was once just a catch-and-shoot guy but now he is doing it all. Really starting to expand his game on the offensive end.
