Blake Owens 2018 Forward Oklahoma Power Elite
Owens played with great confidence on the court on Sunday afternoon. He shot the ball well from mid-range and even stepped out and hit a few three-pointers. Owens dominated the boards with his 6’7 frame. He is a big energy guy. Several key times Owens came through with blocks on the defensive end. Owens projects to the high Division II level and is receiving some low major Division I looks as well.
Stephon Hall 2018 Point Guard Oklahoma Power Elite
Hall spread the floor extremely well at the Point Guard spot. In transition Hall thrived getting his teammates the ball in perfect position. Hall does a good job of not turning the ball over and remaining calm. He already holds an offer from Oklahoma Christian and is being looked at by serval other Division II schools.
Tauriawn Knight 2018 Combo Guard PWP 17U Black
Knight was huge for PWP on Sunday. He is finding his role as a creator with the rock for PWP. Knight was best at getting to the basket using his quickness to blow past defenders. Knight was also good on defense making the hustle plays and staying in front of his opponent. He can be a lock down defender.
David Ward 2018 Wing PWP 17U Black
Ward came in on Sunday on a mission. He shot the ball well hitting some key three-pointers down the stretch. Ward is getting low to mid major Division I looks for a reason his size, ability to score and create. He will be a Division I prospect because of his strength, size and ability to score.
Chris Braggs 2018 Forward OnPoint Hoops
Braggs is going to be a big time small college prospect. He is a tweener position wise with the height of a 3 but the playing style of a 4. He brings lots of energy each possession. Coaches will love the let’s go to work all the time attitude that Braggs brings. He rebounds well and does a great job of finishing in the paint.
Garret Rouse 2019 Guard Oklahoma Impact
Rouse did a little bit of everything for Oklahoma Impact. He did a nice job at the two spot with ball handling and looking to score. Oklahoma Impact relies on him as a Guard that can both shoot from distance and drive to the bucket strong. Rouse was excellent on Sunday.
Trey Green 2019 Guard Oklahoma Impact
Green was the go to guy for a very talented Oklahoma Impact squad. He manned the two spot, but handled the ball frequently. Green does a great job of consistently making he right plays on the court. He battled hard on both ends. Green has a bright future.
Josh Smith 2019 Guard Oklahoma Impact
Smith tore it up on Sunday from three-point range, especially in the championship game. He is a three-point sniper to say the least. He has good touch on his shot. Smith stands with good size at 6’4. He projects to the small college level.
Shemar Smith 2019 Forward Oklahoma Power Elite
Shemar had a great weekend for Oklahoma Power Elite. He is proving he is a top ten player in the 2019 Oklahoma Class. Smith was really good this weekend. He took intensity to the max on both ends of the court. Smith rebounded the ball on both ends with a passion. He has big time hops. Smith is starting to attack the rim offensively, which is taking his game to another level. The scary thing is he is just scratching the surface of his potential.
Kamden Gipson 2018 Point Guard Oklahoma Power Elite
He hit big shot after big shot all day long for Oklahoma Power Elite. Gipson is a good option off the bench for Oklahoma Power Elite. He runs the offense smoothly with an extremely high basketball IQ. Gipson is best described as a gamer on the floor. He is one of those players every coach loves to coach.
Darius Moore 2021 Guard Next Level Elite
Moore is a big bodied Guard with some swagger to his game. He led Next Level Elite to the Championship in 14U. Moore can do a little bit of everything with a good handle and some touch on his jumper.
Trey Phipps 2020 Guard PWP Black 15U
It was fun to watch Phipps put on an absolute show at the Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Tournament. He balled out leading the 15U to the Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Championship. Phipps was the go to guy. He did not disappoint delivering three-pointer after three-pointer. Phipps is hard to project this early, but has a bright future no doubt.
Mason Webb 2018 Guard Oklahoma Power Elite
Webb was a scorer all weekend long for Oklahoma Power Elite. They put the ball in his hands and let him go to work. Webb is a very versatile Wing that can score off the dribble from all three levels and can also be a good reliable catch and shoot guy from deep. Webb is headed to Prep School this fall and is already getting low Division I looks. It was easy to see why with how efficiently he scored the basketball this weekend. Webb is also an under the radar athlete as he has some impressive hops. Webb brings a lot to the table that college coaches love.
Bryce Thompson 2020 Guard PWP Black 16U
Thompson played up two ages this weekend as he already normally plays up with the PWP 16U and this weekend they played 17U. There wasn’t a game to big for him as he came out in attack mode from the start of the weekend. Thompson shot the ball very well. He was best at creating offense for himself. Thompson has a great looking shot. He is already receiving interest from High Major Division I programs and holds an offer from Oklahoma State. Thompson is next up in Oklahoma. Get to know the name Bryce Thompson, because over the next few years he will be a big name in the Oklahoma high school hoops landscape. Thompson continues to show he is the best player in the 2020 Oklahoma Class.
Seth Hurd 2019 Forward PWP 16U Black
Hurd improves seemingly every time I see him play. He was great this weekend at the Forward spot for PWP 16U Black. Playing up an age Hurd brought a go get it attitude with toughness to the court. He rebounded the ball very well. On offense Hurd got out in transition and scored the ball effectively. Hurd already holds a couple of Division I offers and if he keeps playing like he did this weekend more will be on the way. He projects to the Mid Major Division I level.
Mo Wilson 2018 Guard Oklahoma Power Elite
Wilson is improving each time out on the court at 6’6 on the Wing. He is starting to turn his longtime potential into production. Wilson shot the ball the best I have ever seen him shoot from three-point range. He didn’t force shots. When presented openings Wilson took full advantage. Wilson has great upside to his game. He projects to the high Division II level, but could take the JUCO route and turn into a Division I player.
Adokiye Iyaye 2018 Guard OnPoint Hoops
Iyaye gave everything he had in the tank this weekend. He willed OnPoint to the Championship game in the 17U bracket. Iyaye is a Combo Guard that did a little bit of everything this weekend. He scored it well with the ball in his hands creating, driving to the rim, or finding space to get his jump shot off. Iyaye was the single most impressive player in the Prep Hoops Oklahoma State Tournament. He continues to rise in the 2018 Oklahoma class.
