2017 5th Team All DMV I-495 / 55
This was supposed to be an 11 man team for our final of the 5 All DMV I-495 All Star Teams from the Washington, DC vicinity. However, there were too many fantastic players we could not leave out. We will be adding an honorable mention team & possibly adding a few players to this team.
Jason Aigner, 6’1″, G, WT Woodson HS, Fairfax Va, 2017.
Jason averaged 15.1 ppg this year for Virginia 6A State Champion WT Woodson HS & scored 26 in the title game win over CD Hylton HS (Woodbridge, VA). He won MVP for the Suburban All Stars in the Capital Classic this year & Jason will attend Christopher Newport College next year.
Matthew Balanc, 6’3″, WG, Springbrook HS, Silver Spring, MD, 2018.
Matthew averaged over 18 ppg for Springbrook HS this past season & he is having great spring playing for Mid Atlantic Select 17 & U on the Grassroots circuit. He is a very under the radar player with great upside. Matthew has great explosion & excels in attacking the rim off the dribble. We believe he is a legit D1 prospect, but it is to be determined what other offers come in during the next year. Matthew just received an offer from Bryant University.
Donald Brewer, 6’4″, WG/WF, Theodore Roosevelt HS, Washington DC 2017.
Donald was awarded Honorable Mention All Met by the Washington Post and played in the Capital Classic for the District All Stars this past April. He is a slasher who can defend multiple positions who is currently unsigned

Jaden Faulkner, 6’4″, G, Eleanor Roosevelt HS, Greenbelt, MD, 2018.
Jaden helped lead his ER Raiders to 20-5 record before losing to top ranked Wise HS in the Maryland State 4A Regional Semifinals or the Maryland Elite 8 overall in overtime. he is very big guard at 6’4″ with a 6’11’ wingspan. Jaden won a Maryland State 4A State Championship in 2016 and Eleanor Roosevelt should be one of the top teams in Prince Georges County pubic schools this coming year. Jaden is an excellent rebounder & defender, and he does all the intangibles on the court. He has a very solid mid range game and we have seen his outside shot improve. We believe Jaden is a solid D1 recruit, but this will be a big year for him.
Tyler Foster, 6’5″, WG Middleburg Academy, VA, 2018.
Tyler is a D1 prospect& he was verbally committed to Georgetown, but decided to prep next season at Mount Zion Prep in Baltimore. Tyler played in the Capital Classic for the Suburban All Stars this past April.

Makhi is a consensus top 35 player in the nation and he has numerous D1 offers which include Maryland, Georgia Tech, Penn State, Towson State, Rutgers & Virginia Tech. He has great bounce and uses his body very well to power inside the paint & can hit the outside jumper. He runs the court very well with rim protection & rebounding skills. His twin brother Mahkel is just like Mahki, but a little behind due to minor injuries and conditioning. The pair will play in college as a package deal.

Zachary is another hidden gem of the DMV and he is having a fantastic spring for Team BBC 17 & U out of Baltimore in the Grassroots Adidas Uprising Gauntlet Circuit. His recruiting is taking off & Zachary now has offers from Canisuis, Youngstown State, New Hampshire & Sacred Heart. Zachary is very tough player who can score & rebound inside plus hit perimeter shots.
