Prep Hoops All DMV, I-495 All Star team, (Washington, DC Suburban) 4th team.
The Washington, DC, DMV are has the highest rate of D1 players produced in the nation per capita. We are awarding the top players in the Washington, DC DMV I-495 Region, with 5 eleven player All Star teams. The Capital Beltway or I-495, is a 64 mile interstate highway that surrounds Washington, DC. We will compose our All Star teams of those players that attend high schools in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia areas within the I-495 region. As with all of our players who have committed to college we will be following them throughout their college careers and wish them success on and off the court. This is the second team All DMV I-495 / 55 team with 3 more to follow, and another All Star team for players not located in the regions of the Washington, DC DMV & the Baltimore DMV. The All Star teams will be completed by May 14, stay tuned.

Quinton Drayton, 6’3″, WG, Bowie HS, MD, 2017.
Quinton thrives in the pull-up game and he is an excellent jump shooter who is great at creating space. He can get into the paint, runs well in transition, and has a nice mid range game. Quinton played in the Capital Classic for the Suburban All Stars & he awarded Washington Post Honorable mention All Met. Q will play next season for the Towson State Tigers.

Jahlil Jenkins, 6’0″, PG, Virginia Academy, Ashburn, VA, 2017.
Jahlil was awarded game MVP for the Suburban All Stars in this years Capital Classic All Star game in April. He is an excellent scoring PG with a very good handle. Jahlil has signed to play at Fairleigh-Dickinson University this fall & joins F & D’s top 3 players who are DMV natives. We believe Jahlil is one of the more underrated players in the DMV & he will have a great career at Fairleigh & Dickinson..
Xavier Johnson, 6’3″, PG, Bishop O’Connell HS, Arlington, Va 2018.
Xavier teamed with 2nd team All DMV I-495 / 55 player Matt Lewis to form one of the best back courts in the DMV this past season. Xavier is true floor general & he can play off the ball if it is needed. Xavier is an elite passer who is excellent at breaking down his defender off the dribble & getting in the paint or finishing at he rim. Xavier is currently playing for a loaded Team Takeover 17 & U this spring on the Nike EBYL Grassroots circuit. He already holds offers from NC State, Providence, Towson State, Nebraska & Manhattan.

Sherif Kenney, 6’4.5″, PG, Rock Creek Christian HS, Upper Marlboro, MD, 2019.
Sherif is ranked in the top 40 players in the nation for 2019 & started all season for Rock Creek Christian at PG this past season. RCA finished the year @ 28-4 and was ranked nationally for much of the year. RCA returns a minimum of 4 D1 players next year & should be ranked in the top 3o teams in the nation. Sherif can score at all levels & has no real weakness, but must keep his weight at his target. He is excellent at bullying his opponent in the paint and has developed a very good 3 point shot. Sherif currently holds offers from Penn State, Boston College, & USF.
Ricardo Lindo, 6’7″ WG/WF, Wilson HS, Washington, DC 2018.
Ricardo possesses great winspan & he is an elite defender. He helped lead Woodrow Wilson HS to a 27-3 record and #3 ranking in the DMV. Four starters return next year for Wilson and we believe the Tigers have the talent to be a top 4o team in the nation. Ricardo can guard multiple positions & score at all 3 levels. He is having a fantastic spring for Team Loaded 17 & U who are 8-0 on the Adidas Uprising Gauntlet Grassroots circuit this spring. We expect Ricardo’s recruitment to take off this spring & summer and he is legit D1 prospect.
Ejike Obina, 6’11”,C, Virginia Academy, Ashburn, VA, 2017.
Ejike has been accidentally overlooked & should be placed on our higher teams. The 6’11” center is ranked in the top 155 players in the nation. Ejike has worked very hard and is now a very good low post player on both sides of the ball. He played in the Capital Classic this April & Ejike had a very solid game against the USA All Stars & was awarded best defender for the Capital All Stars. Ejike is an excellent academic student & we feel his best basketball has yet to come. Additionally, we believe,Ejike will have an excellent career in the classroom & on the court at Vandy.
LJ Owens, 6’4″, CG, Severn School, Severn, MD, 2018.
LJ is a hidden gem who plays for the Severn School in Severn, MD near Annapolis which causes him to fall in between the Washington Post and Baltimore Sun boarders for exposure. LJ averaged 22ppg, 6 rebounds and 2 assists for the Severn School this past season and he was awarded The Capital Gazette(Annapolis area) Anne Arundel County Player of the Year. LJ had big games against higher ranked schools which included 26 points vs. Mt. St. Joseph of Baltimore who were the #2 team in the Maryland / DC area. He is currently having an excellent year for the DC Blue Devils 17 & U team on the Grassroots circuit.

Terence Lewis, 6’6″, WF/, National Christian Academy, Fort Washington, MD, 2017.
Terence culminated an excellent career at National Christian Academy and he played in the Capital Classic this April for the Suburban All Stars and was awarded best rebounder & totaled 10 points & 9 rebounds in the game. Terence is having an excellent spring playing for New World in the Adidas Uprising Gauntlet circuit for the Grassroots circuit. At this time Terence is undecided on his college choice and he may prep next year.
Vado Morse, 5’10”,PG, Bullis HS, Potomac, MD, 2018.
Vado has become a legit D1 recruit for Bullis HS and next year will determine what level he play in college. He is excellent floor general and has developed a very good perimeter shot to add to his dribble penetration skills. He is on the New World 18 & u roster this spring but Vado is injured. We hope he heals well and see him on the hardwood soon.

Chyree Walker, 6’5.5″, WG/WF, Bullis HS, Potomac, MD, 2017.
Chyree is a very long wing who is a slasher with a very solid jumper. He is an excellent defender and will attend the University of Delaware. Chyree will play alongside 2nd Team All DMV I-495/55, PG Ryan Allen of DeMatha HS for the Blue Hens. He helped lead Bullis to the IAC championship this year and he played for the District All Stars in this years Capital Classic All Star game in April.
James West IV, 6’2.5′, PG, Freedom HS, Woodbridge, VA, 2017.
James had a great career for Freedom HS and will attend Mt. St. Marys next season with 4 other DMV players. He is a great shooter & averaged 21 ppg this year for Freedom HS. James can beat his man off the dribble & get in the lane for a floater or layin. We have an article in the works for the 5 players who will attend Mt. St. Marys “, which is a great & beautiful D1 college located in Emmitsburg, MD. “The Mount” has played in the NCCA tournament many times including this years first round game against Villanova.
