From May 26, thru May 29 New World will be playing in the Adidas Uprising Gauntlet Regional. We will be posting the schedule when it becomes available.
#1 Sherif Kenney, 6’4″, PG, Rock Creek Christian HS, Upper Marlboro, MD, 2019.
Sherif is currently ranked in the top 35 players in the nation for 2019. He is a very strong PG who uses his strength and skill to get into the paint and attack the rim. Sherif can run the half court, fast break, shoot the 3 ball and he is a very well rounded PG. He already has numerous D1 offers which include Nebraska, Boston College, Rhode Island heavy interest from Maryland and Georgetown.
#2 Amir Harris, 6’5″, PG, St. Maria Goretti HS, Hagerstown, MD, 2018.
Amir is emerging as a national recruit and he has excellent explosion. This spring he is leading New World in minutes played, is tied for team high in steals and second in assists. However, he must pick up his shooting % and decision making which we believe he will. At this point Amir is a mid major recruit, but he has the potential to become a higher level recruit.
Prep Hoops Writer Chris Jenkins recently wrote this very nice Recruiting Report for Amir:
#3 Frevado Morse, 5’10”, PG, Bullis HS, Potomac MD, 2018.
Vado was a key player for Bullis HS who won the Interstate Basketball Conference title this past season. One of his numerous strengths is finishing at the rim with either hand in addition to being an excellent floor general. This year his 3 point shot has become a weapon for him. Vado is currently injured and we hope to see him soon on the hardwood soon.
Prep Hoops Senior Writer Adam Ayalew wrote this excellent Recruiting Report for Vado on 2-1-17:
#4 Terence Lewis, 6’5″, SF, National Christian Academy, Landover, MD, 2018.
Terence is having a great spring for New World. He is tied for second in scoring shooting 50% from the field and is second in rebounding. This past season Terence led NCA to the Capitol Beltway Tournament Championship Title with a huge win over Rock Creek Christian Academy in the Tittle game. Terence was awarded Honorable Mention All Met by the Washington Post and played for the District All Stars in the Capital Classic All Star game this April. He is weighing his options for college and prep school is an option for Terence.
Senior Staff Writer Adam Ayalew wrote this very fine Recruiting Report for Terence last June:
#11 David McCullough, 6’6″, SG, Riverdale Baptist HS, MD, 2018.
David was key contributor to a an excellent Riverdale Baptist team who plays in possibly the second best conference in the DMV, The Capitol Beltway League. He is a very versatile WG who can knock down the 3 or explode the rim for a dunk.
Senior Staff Writer Adam Aylew wrote the following excellent Recruiting Report for David on 3-17-17:
#12 Karim Coulibaly, 6’8″, PF, Pallotti HS, Laurel, MD, 2019.
Karim is ranked in the top 50 national rankings for 2019 and he has the ability to move up. Karim has a very high non stop motor, attacks the ball for rebounds and plays in the beast mode. Karim is excellent in the paint on both sides of the ball and he has begun to develop a nice 3 point shot. He has been playing at a very high level for New World this spring and Karim already has numerous D1 offers.
#15 Kobby Ayetey, 6’7″, SG, Capitol Christian HS, Upper Marlboro, MD, 2017
Kobby is a very versatile wing who can play inside out. He is a very good rebounder and shot blocker. Kobby is having a very solid spring for New World and their second leading rebounder and tied for 3rd in blocks.
Prep Hoops Writer Anrew Kuhla wrote this very fine Recruiting Report for Kobby this January :

#20, Valentina Bilounga, 6’10”, C, Capitol Christian HS, Upper Marlboro, MD, 2019.
Valentina is a prospect to watch over the next 2 years and he possesses and an excellent upside. Currently he is primarily a rim protect and rebounder, but we believe he has the ability to expand his game and become a good scorer.
#23, Dalvaun Mitchell, 6’4″ SG, Oldsmar Christian HS, FL, 2018.
Dalvaun who goes by the nickname DJ and he played previously at St.Vincent Palloti HS in Laurel, MD, where he averaged 21 points and 8 assists per game. DJ has re classified to 2018 and played this past season at Oldsmar Christian Prep in Florida. DJ has excellent explosion, Can shoot off the dribble and attack the rim. We believe his rankings could move up this year. Arkansas State just offered DJ.
Prep Hoops Writer Jake Pepper wrote this Prospect Highlight this past November for DJ:
#24, Raidell De Pree, 6’5″, CG, St. Mary Ryken HS, Leonardtown, MD, 2017.
Raidell was the floor general for St. Marys Ryken HS who play in the WCAC and he had a very good season for SMR.

#42, Quetin Millora-Brown, 6’9″, C, Bishop O’Connell HS, Arlington, Va, 2018.
Quetin has D1 offers from Columbia, Rice, Mt. St. Marys, and Lehigh with James Madison and Boston University having just offered Q. He has an excellent wingspan and has developed some nice low post moves which include a drop step and jump hook. Q has shown the ability to block shots and be an effective rebounder. We believe Q has very good upside and will move up in his rankings.
