The First Five: MoKan Elite 16U
MoKan Elite’s 16U squad features several talented players from Kansas and Missouri. Here is our latest “First Five”.
DaJuan Harris (Rock Bridge): A dynamic 6’1 point guard, Harris brings speed and agility to the hardwood as well as the ability to get to the bucket and create off the bounce. He has started to turn the heads of college coaches and recently picked up his first offer from Tulsa.
Isaiah Mosley (Rock Bridge): A skilled inside-outside performer who plays bigger than his listed 6’5 height, Mosley is coming off a standout sophomore season at Rock Bridge. He can handle the ball, shoot from the outside as well as mix it up in the paint.
Tyem Freeman (Hillcrest): A 6’6 wing, Freeman is just scratching the surface of his talent. He is a long, athletic wing player with terrific bloodlines as he is related to both former Kickapoo and Creighton standout Anthony Tolliver as well as former UCLA standout Kevon Looney.
Christian Braun (Blue Valley Northwest): Still growing, Braun is a 6’4 guard who got some run for a 6A state champion Blue Valley Northwest squad this past season as a sophomore. A standout perimeter shooter He is the younger brother of 6’8 forward Parker Braun.
Jonathan Jackson (Home School): A long, rangy 6’4 wing player, Jackson is the only player in the 2020 class playing up an age level for MoKan Elite this spring. He is the younger brother of former North Carolina standout Justin Jackson and brings a smooth game to the court for the 16U squad.
