17U Oklahoma State Tournament Preview: Pool C
The 17U bracket is loaded with arguably the best field of Oklahoma teams a tournament in-state will have all grassroots season. Each team will advance from pool play with a chance to advance to the Championship game of the 17U bracket. Pool C features a couple of teams that enter the tournament as new teams to the State Tournament field.
Oklahoma Run PWP Black 16U is playing up. They have had a great spring on the national Under Armour grassroots circuit. Bryce Thompson is one of the most talented players in the entire tournament in the 2020 class. The Oklahoma Magic and Bad Boyz Elite are two teams that are very intriguing. Either could make a deep run in bracket play.
Pool C
Oklahoma Run PWP Black 16U
The only 16U team playing up in the 2017 Oklahoma State Tournament and for good reason. They are loaded with immense talent. 2020 standout Bryce Thompson leads the way at the two Guard spot. People will want to get a look at Thompson who is already being recruited by multiple High Major schools. Seth Hurd and Micah Thomas are two other names to know in the 2019 Class on the 16U squad.
Bad Boyz Elite
The Bad Boyz Elite squad will look to make a statement this weekend in the 2017 Oklahoma State Tournament. They are a team out of the Oklahoma City area with a lot of players who are rising in the 2018 Class. Bad Boyz Elite gets started with their opening game on Friday at 9:15PM against the Oklahoma Magic.
Oklahoma Magic
The Oklahoma Magic return this year with a good group at the 17U level. They have a talented team with a good build. Nic White is a key player for Oklahoma Magic on the Wing. White does a great job of finding ways to be effective in multiple ways. The Oklahoma Magic will be a tough group to play this weekend.
