Spring Kick Off (2017): Saturday Evening Session – Arizona Spotlight
Saturday is in the books and the teams know their destinations for tomorrow. Although there are not any teams directly from Arizona, one of the top performers thus far has been an Arizona prospect. Below is the Spring Kick Off (2017) Arizona Spotlight.
Arizona Spotlight – Jaelen House
Jaelen House, who is participating in this tournament for the Las Vegas Prospects, has been an outstanding performer. While here, he has been one of the most intriguing prospects due in large part to his versatile skill set.
It is tough to classify House as he does not fit into the typical “score-first” or “pass-first” point guard. Rather, he is very balanced at both. He is a good shooter from deep; however, he thrives in the paint. He is aggressive, athletic, and does a great job of creating for himself as well as others.

Even more impressive is his ability to make plays without gambling. He has great instincts which allows him to constantly be in the right position to make a play.
Thus far, the Las Vegas Prospects are 2-o with wins over the Colorado Hawks as well as Team Bang. In both games, an argument can be made that he was the player of the game. He did not start either of the games; however, when he got into the game, he wasted little time making an impact.
Despite being from Arizona, House has been able to fit into this team with ease. The bigs, specifically Antwon Jackson, on the team do a great job of carving out space. This assists House in being able to leave dump off passes for them next to the rim when the help side rotates.
House will hope to continue the strong play tomorrow as the Prospects take on the Colorado Chaos Elite at 10:10 AM at Thornton High School.
