Player Introduction: Caleb Jones (2021)
2021 guard Caleb Jones is joining Lehigh next season and that is a big thing for the Lightning.
Jones, a 5’11”, 163-pounder is going to work his way into the rotation there next fall.
As an 8th grader, Jones suited up for High Hoops during travel season, a spot he’s in right now.
“This season what I learned the most was learning how to become more of a complete player to be able to play every position. The part of my game that grew the most I would say was on ball defense and my mid-range jumper.”
Starting basketball at the age of 9, Jones says his biggest strengths are his passing ability, mid-range shot, finish at the basket and drive off the wing. He’s aiming to improve his 3-point shot and movement off the ball.
I know Jones hasn’t played one second of high school ball, yet but it is never too early to see the future. He’s a really good ball handler and is someone I fully expect to earn ample opportunities at Lehigh as a freshman.
