Plenty of Palmetto State Recruiting news to report this week. Here are some
tidbits from around the state.
Rodney Gunn has decided to attended Lenoir-Rhyne (NC) (NCAA D2) next season. Gunn 6’7 is ranked #32
in the Prep Hoops Top 125 this season. Gunn averaged 13 ppg and 10 rebounds this season at
Irmo HS.
Noah Jenkins a teammate of Gunn at Irmo will continue his career at Limestone College (NCAA D2).
Jenkins averaged 7.1 ppg this season for the Yellow Jackets.
James “Dakota” Jennings #20
James “Dakota” Jennings (pictured on front) won’t have to travel far next season to play college ball.
Jennings signed with Coker College (SC) (NCAA D2). Jennings a ultra-athletic forward averaged
14 ppg this season at CrestwoodHS. Jennings played AAU with Team SC last summer with teammate
Temetrius Morant (Murray State bound). Jennings is ranked #41 in the Prep Hoops Top 125.
Wynston Andrews has decided to play at Newberry (SC) (NCAA D2) next season. ” I really liked
what the coaching staff had to say to me and their style of play really fit me” said Andrews.
Andrews from Cardinal Newman is ranked #74 in the Prep Hoops Top 125 this season.
Malik Wilson
Malik Wilson will continue his playing career at South Georgia Tech College in Americus, GA next fall.
Wilson a member of the Lakewood HS and Manning Gators averaged 11.7 ppg and 5 rebounds this season.
Wilson will join teammates Davonte Pack (Cowley College) and Tyrell Still (Pfeiffer) in finding
colleges for next season.
Zion Williamson #1 ranked player in the 2018 Class in the Palmetto State will receive a visit today
from Clemson Head Coach Brad Brownell. Kentucky will be in on Thursday before Williamson and
his SC Supreme teammates head off to Dallas, TX for the Adidas Gauntlet.
Mamoudou Diarra
Mamoudou Diarra will visit the University of Cincinnati according to a close source. Diarra is ranked
#3 in the Prep Hoops Top 125. Diarra a one-time Washington signee played at 22Ft Academy this past season.
