LSWA All-State Team (Class B): Brian Brown named MOP
The Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) has chosen its top players in Class B for the 2016-17 season and below are their selections for the 1st and 2nd Teams along with honorable mentions.
Negreet’s Brian Brown was named the Most Outstanding Player in the Class B after averaging a whopping 27.2 points per game. He led the Indians to a 21-12 record with a trip to the second round of the playoffs where Negreet was knocked out in overtime 74-70 against Mt. Hermon.
