Juwan White a name to know
Oklahoma has guys who go under the radar each year. Combo Guard Juwan White is a player coaches should know in the 2018 Class. He burst onto the scene this past high school season at Norman North after moving from Georgia. Division II and JUCO schools should circle his name and put him on their radar.
He is an intriguing really quick Guard who can play at the one or the two. He knows his role and does what he is best at one the floor, which adds to his status as a player. White is great at driving and slashing to the rim with his speed. He does a good job of finishing with a nice floater in the lane or strong at the rim.
White is an unknown player to many with having just moved into Oklahoma less than a year ago. The athleticism, quickness and hustle of White make him standout. He projects to the Division II to JUCO level.
This weekend with the Oklahoma Power 17U on the Adidas UpRising Silver Circuit White proved to be vital off the bench. He came in and gave Oklahoma Power 17U great minutes at the Point Guard and two guard spot. One thing he showed is his ability to play some nice defense against quicker guards.
White does not back down from competition, but instead he welcomes it. College coaches will love his battle and toughness on the court. White is a key piece to the Oklahoma Power 17U squad.
