Intro: Chase Jones (2020)
Chase Jones just completed his freshman season at Glasgow High School. Seeing limited minutes, Jones looks to improve his game while playing with Team Tae this summer. Prep Hoops Kentucky caught up with Chase to talk about this off-season and what he hopes to improve on along the way.
“Even though I didn’t see a lot of minutes as a freshman, I feel like I got better throughout the season,” said Jones. “Right now, I am a 6’4 center. This off-season I hope to improve on my mobility and getting more conditioned.”
Jones strengths are posting up around the rim and rebounding. “I love to spark my team. Next high school season I hope to come back improved and ready to play a lot at the varsity level.”
As we stated before, this AAU season Chase Jones is playing with Team Tae out of Tennessee. Team Tae has a number of Kentucky players on their roster. “I love playing with Team Tae. I’ve known my teammates since I moved here from Nashville. I feel like we are loaded and that we could make some noise during nationals.”
You can find Chase Jones and Team Tae playing on the NYBA Elite circuit this summer.
