Strengths: The strength of this group is their size. Having multiple players over 6’5 in this class in Indiana is huge. They also have some versatility with those guys as Kitchel, Gholston, and Glass can all play away from the rim. Their depth as wing is also really interesting as well. Davis, Roberson, Bernard, Stallings, and Gholston can all put up points. Will be interesting to see how they make it work.
Why College Programs Should Watch: High-end NAIA all the way up to LM programs should be watching early this spring. They have size and athleticism to pair with scoring ability and a lot of it. Could be a good team to find a bucket getter if you need one and at any level.
Player To Watch: Dakei Hines (Gary West) – Hines is one of only a few players in the 2018 class in Indiana to actually play in the post. He’s got great size and scoring ability on the low block but plenty athletic enough to score it away from the rim too. Could be a steal for a team that gets on him early.
Where To Find Them: This team will be playing on the Powerade Platform so look for them in Washington D.C. this weekend along with a trip to Nashville and Indianapolis later this year. SYF typically plays out of Chicago and Milwaukee.
