Strengths: This is a really interesting group with a ton of kids who up to this point haven’t played a huge role on their high school teams but now during the summer they get to showcase their game. With four bigs and six guards I anticipate to see a lot of different styles of play with this team, they can run and gun or they potentially could play with three bigs and two guards.
Why College Programs Should Watch: There is a lot to like here in the DIII/NAIA ranks as there are a few guys who can shoot and a few who can run the point. Most will have to develop but could make an impact in their sophomore year of college.
Player To Watch: Cole Jenkins (Carmel) – Jenkins is a contributor for Carmel and I am really interested to see how he fares this summer. Gill had a big summer last year on this team as did Hegwood so it’ll be interesting to see how his skills improve this summer like the guys from last years’ squad did
Where To Find Them: They will stay around Indy for the most part starting the season at the Circle City Shootout April 21-23. Staying in Indy for 6/9 tournaments and then make the trip to Milwaukee and Las Vegas to round out their summer season in July.
