Goodlow an intriguing 2020 Guard
Nate Goodlow burst onto the scene Saturday on the Adidas Silver UpRising Circuit. He is an intriguing 6’2 Guard out of Oklahoma. Goodlow plays with the Oklahoma Power 16U squad on the Adidas Circuit. As a 2020 Guard playing up at the 16U level, Goodlow shined with brilliant play down the stretch.
Goodlow was best driving to the rim creating openings with his quickness and solid handle. He finished strong around the rim, even through contact. Goodlow has to improve his outside shot to take his game on offense to the next level.
Defensively, Goodlow showed positive signs working hard to make his man work for every basket. He moves his feet well allowing him to stay in front of his man. Goodlow is very young with a long way to go before his game is a finished product. Saturday could be the start of Goodlow taking off with Oklahoma Power this summer.
Goodlow meshes well with what Oklahoma Power likes to do with his size, quickness and hustle. The work ethic of Goodlow on the court sets him apart. It will be interesting to see where Goodlow takes his game over the next four years. He certainly has some big time potential.
Goodlow plays at Del City for high school.
