PrepHoopsSC: How’s the AAU season going?
Zach Baldinelli: So far the AAU season is going great. My team is 4-0 after our first tournament. I averaged 26 PPG, 6 RPG & 3 APG.
PrepHoopsSC: What game or event are you looking forward to?
Zach Baldinelli: I’m really looking forward to the phenom challenge this weekend. It’s our first live event so I’m excited to get after it. Also I’m excited for CP3 & Southern Jam. I feel those events will allow my teammates and I to get a lot of exposure.
PrepHoopsSC: What schools have you been hearing from?
Zach Baldinelli: As of right now I’m getting interest from Oregon State, USC Upstate, Wofford, Lander, Newberry & Francis Marion. I also hold an offer from St. Andrews University that I received last week.
PrepHoopsSC: What do you feel that you need to improve on?
Zach Baldinelli: I feel that right now my lateral movement is something I need to improve upon. With that being said I’m still going to work hard to get stronger and get my weight up. I’m trying to be between 185-190 LBS by the end of the summer.
PrepHoopsSC: What are the parts of your game that set you apart from other players.
Zach Baldinelli: I feel I’m very good and can do anything on the court. If I had to say the main thing that separates me from my peers is probably my work ethic and passion for the game.
