Five Points
- The numbers this team put up this year seems to suggest that they should dominate the glass. Look at the numbers for the Stecklers, for Ogbu, for Miller, Kihle, and even some of the wings and guards. They are not only reasonably big but this is a strong team. Not many will be as physically strong as this group.
- They have a low post option in Big Josh, a versatile scorer in Trae Steckler, active scorers like Ogbu and Cam Steckler, and a playmaker like Gendreau. These are players with talent, now how will they produce against some of the top players from around the Midwest? It will be fun to see.
- There are sleepers that can make or break this club. Guys like Bickett, Horgan, Miller, and Nordberg. All had good years, now which will step up and show people that they are college level players?
- The Phenom will play in the Comets Shootout which is one of the best opening weekend events in the upper Midwest, they are in the Battle at the Lakes with several name teams from around the country, the Fab 48, the Great Plains Alliance, and the several Sanford Pentagon Basketball League events. Definitely have put together a solid schedule
- Jordan Polynice is playing with the Phenom squad for some of the events but is also playing for the Howard Pulley 16U team all spring. Not the Pulley EYBL 17 and Under group but the 16U team which will include a lot of freshman and sophomores from Minnesota.
