Part 2 Capital Classic, District All Stars vs Suburban All Stars
College recruiters should be on the lookout for 13 very talented seniors who have not made their decision for college, and who are looking to boost their stock in this great contest. Prep Hoops will be providing updated recruiting reports for these fine players after the game.
In the preliminary Capital Classic game, 5 very skilled District All Star players remain uncommitted:
- Jaccob Long teamed with Capital All Star Keleaf Tate at Cesar Chavez forming one of the most underrated back courts in the DMV.
- Cyril Ogbuagu is a force in the paint, protecting the rim, rebounding and scoring. He was a key player in Riverdale Baptist’s season and the Crusaders Maryland Public School State Championship.
- Tyler Foster plays wg and at one time was committed to Georgetown, but he has opened up his recruitment. He can finish with strong dunks, and a very good scorer and defender.
- Donald Brewer can slash and defend at 6’5″ and excels in transition. He led Theodore Roosevelt HS of Washington, DC in scoring this year.
- Terence Lewis scored in double figures in 31 of 32 games for National Christian Academy this year. He tallied 15 points in NCA’s victory over a very powerful Rock Creek Christian team to capture the Capitol Beltway Conference Championship.
For the Suburban All Star team, 8 players are uncommitted:
- Kobe Colston came on very strong this year for Blake HS in Silver Spring, MD as their pg and hopes to land a scholarship.
- Alan Treakle was the captain for Wakefield HS in Arlington, VA this year and formed one of Nova’s best back courts with his senior teammate, 6’2″ WG Halil Parks.
- Donald Carey is a 6’5″ pg who ranks #27 in our Maryland /D.C. rankings and excels at finding the open man from all locations. He can score and dish from all court locations. Donald’s is playing this game with his high school teammate,6’7″ Zion Cousins who has committed to Howard University.
- Trent Dixon helped lead Central HS located in Capitol Heights, MD to the Maryland State 2A semifinals.
- Dominik Fragala had a fine season for John Champe HS in Aldie, VA and is ranked #56 in the Prep Hoops Virginia State rankings.
- Corey Pelham played pg for Lake Braddock HS in Burke,VA and is ranked # 112 in Prep Hoops Virginia State Rankings.
- Jonathan Mustamu was one the Kennedy Cavaliers top players, helping his Silver Spring, MD HS to a 25-5 record. He has learned to play multiple potions during his career.
- John Fierstein helped lead Quince Orchard to the Maryland 4A finals where the Cougars lost to Perry Hall in OT. He has a very high basketball IQ and describes himself as point forward, who can play pg on occasions. Adam Ayalew has just written a Recruiting Report for John.
- Darron Barnes had some huge games for the 22-1 Wise Pumas this season who finished the season ranked #2 in DMV by the Washington Post. Darron describes himself as a point forward. He is very powerfully built and excels in all phases of basketball. Darron is currently ranked #30 in Prep Hoops Maryland / D.C. rankings.
