“First off the system is perfect for Young. It provides Trae with an opportunity to feel an immediate need at Oklahoma in the starting Point Guard spot. Young will be the “man” from the first game next year. The scoring, ball handling skills, vision and leadership of Young will be of great help to Oklahoma next season. He has program changer written all over his game. This recruiting job by the Oklahoma staff was extraordinary when you look at the schools they were up against. Huge get for Oklahoma.”

“It is a program changer from day one. He fits perfectly in their “pace and space” offense and they have some good young core talent. Trae should be Oklahoman of the year.”

“Young made a choice to go where he felt most comfortable. The moment he steps onto that campus the OU Men’s Basketball program will be better.”
Young was ranked as a 5-star #15 overall #2 Point Guard in the country by Prep Hoops. Look for more coverage on what Young’s decision effects throughout the weekend.
