Best Shooters in Utah County- Here are the best sharp shooters in Utah County. This list of players can flat out shoot the ball from deep and all lead their team in 3 point shooting. Below are the 10 best shooters ranked by Prep Hoops.
1. Steven Ashworth (Lone Peak) 2.5 3’s per game- Steven is a dynamite point guard with the ability to stretch the defense with his shot making ability. He is a selfless player, but when it is time for the #1 ranked Knights to score the ball, he is ready for the challenge.
2. Keanu Akina (Pleasant Grove) 3.2 3’s per game- Keanu is a 6’4 shooting guard with great length and a very quick trigger. He can get hot in a hurry and thrives on taking big shots for the Vikings who are currently a top 3 team in the state.
3. Adam Santiago (Timpview) 2.7 3’s per game- Adam is one part to the 3 headed shooting monster for the Thunder Birds. Hunter Erickson, Jordan Sagers, and Adam can all have 5 3’s on any given night.
4. Hunter Erickson (Timpview) 2.3 3’s per game- Hunter is the best combo guard in the state. When he isn’t dropping bombs from deep range, he’s putting the other team on his own personal poster with thunderous dunks.
5. Braxton Bailey (Provo) 2.3 3’s per game- Braxton is a pro-typical stretch four for the college game. Bailey is 6’7 with guard skills and a silky smooth jumper.
6. Tyler Boyack (Maple Mountain) 2.2 3’s per game- Tyler is becoming a stronger athlete every day. He has great range on his jump shot and is a true floor general. At 6’3, Tyler has a length and a nice feel for the game.
7. Kedrick Clayton (Mountain View) 2 3’s per game- Ked is the ultimate 3 and D guy. He’s a strong competitor with the ability to hit multiple 3’s in a game, while also defending the opposing team’s best player.
8. Ross Reeves (Orem) 2 3’s per game- Ross is a very unselfish player. He has the ability to play either guard position at a high level. Ross is the only left handed shooter on our list, and really excels at pulling up off the bounce and is always shot ready.
9. Ricky Stafford (Mountain View) 2 3’s per game- Ricky may have the best shooting form on our list, the 6’2 combo guard can catch fire at any given time. Stafford shows great confidence on the floor and will primarily play the point in college.
10. Braydon Cuff (Skyridge) 2.1 3’s per game- Braydon is kind of the dark horse on this list. Not the prettiest shot, but is very effective when he gets going. He has a lot of confidence to pull the trigger and is also an above average wing defender.
