Trey Farrer 6’8 (Pine View) The post man has continued to out up big numbers as the regular season is coming to a close. Farrer is averaging nearly 19 points and 9 rebounds per game and is a great rim protector. Watching film on him I was really impressed with how good of a defender Farrer. He is receiving interest from several junior colleges and I think if he ends up going the juco route he could be a d1 player.
Alan Lang 6’7 (Judge Memorial) is a lengthy forward who is very athletic and is really good in transition. Lang is able to know down the 15 jumper with consistency. He is averaging 11 points and 7 rebounds. Overall, Lang is still very raw but his ceiling is very high. His dad played for Duke and is currently an assistant coach for the Utah Jazz. I think Lang needs to go Juco then I think he could be a D1 prospect.
Steven Price 6’6 (Juan Diego) is a super athletic face up forward with a very high ceiling. Price is known for his highlight dunks and blocks. He is still extremely raw but if he can be develop at the college level he will be a very good player. Price is averaging 10 points and 7 rebounds per game. I project him going the juco route.
John Villanueva 6’6 (Hillcrest) has big body and takes advantage of smaller defenders when he gets the ball on the block. Villaneuva is a good defender on the ball and off the ball. He is extremely raw on offense and he needs to be developed. Villanueva is averaging 9 points and 7 rebounds per games this season. He currently has offers from Central Wyoming, Dawson cc, and Pierce College.
Braxton Bailey 6’6 (Provo) has put up really impressive stats on a bad team this season. Bailey is averaging 21 points and 6 rebounds per game while connecting on 41 three pointers in 19 games so far this season. He is a stretch forward who can really shoot it from the outside and can take his defender off of the bounce. Bailey is receiving junior college and NAIA interest.
Nate Headrick 6’5 (Riverton) is built like a football player and is able to bully defenders in the paint. He is averaging 12 points and 7 rebounds per game. Headrick has nice touch for a big man and also the ability to step out and hit the jumper. He would be a good role player at the juco level.
Ryan Pollard 7’0 (Bountiful) is extremely raw but you can’t teach height so I think he is worth taking a flyer on. Pollard is averaging 13 points and 7 rebounds per game. He is not very agile and is still getting used to his body. Pollard is a project but if he develops it could be well worth the wait.
