Covenant Christian 56, Laurens Academy 49
Javonatae Cooper (2017) scored a game-high 24 points to lead the Eagles. The Eagles took advantage of their speed and quickest to move on against Laurens Academy. Aaron Elliott added 15 points for the Eagles. Noah Moore ends the game and made closer with half-court shot at the end of the game for Laurens. Moore finished with a team-high 23 points. Covenant will play Beaufort Academy at 5 p.m. in SCISA Class A second round at Wilson Hall.
Anderson Christian 71, Low country Prep 30
Mondreacus Clark (2018) scored a game-high 22 points to advance in Class A state playoff. The Lions never let the Marlins in the game. The Lions never let the Marlins in the game. Quintin Moultrie added 14 points and Mason Brown chipped in 11 points in the victory. The Lions will play North Myrtle Beach Christian at 6 p.m. at Heathwood Hall in SCISA Class A playoffs on Tuesday.
Class 2A
Spartanburg Christian 61 Hilton Head Christian 30
Christian Kincaid (2017) scored a game-high 24 points to lead Spartanburg Christian in the Class 2A playoffs. Kincaid opened the first quarter with two three to set the tone for the Knights. Brian Comacho also scored 11 points for the Knights in the win. Spartanburg Christian will play Hilton Head Prep in SCISA 2A playoffs at Wilson Hall gym B at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Oakbrook Prep 67, The King’s Academy 53
Jakorian Martin (2018) scored a game-high 30 points to lead Oakbrook Prep in the Class 2A playoffs. Cal Wooden added 12 points for the Knights. The King’s Academy got it close at 50-48 at the end of the third quarter. The King’s Academy was led by Chase Porter (2017) 24 points. Oakbrook Prep will play Christian Academy in SCISA 2A playoffs at Wilson Hall gym A at 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Class 3A
Ben Lippen 51, Wilson Hall 34
Garrison Moode and Ryan McCray scored a team-high 12 points apiece to advance in Class 3A playoff and end the day at Heahwood Hall. The Eagles never let the game get close by outscoring Wilson Hall 30-17 at the half. Drew Talley (2017) scored a game-high 13 points for the Barons. Ben Lippen will face SCISA 1-3A foe Cardinal Newman in SCISA 3A playoffs at Sumter Exhibition Center at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
