Polynice is averaging 13.4 points, 6.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, almost steals, and a block a game shooting 40 percent from the field (takes 10-11 shots a game), 32 percent from the arc (half his attempts come from three point territory), and 73 percent fro the foul line.
“Our season has gone pretty good,” Jordan said. “We’ve gone through some bumps, but we are starting to pick it back up and will be ready for the Eastern Dakota Conference tournament.”
GFRR was 4-4 at one point, won six in a row, lost three in a row, then one two more in a row. Polynice and senior Mark Toe (team’s leading scorer at nearly 16 a game) are leading the way.
Polynice tributes his improved play to the following things:
“I’m being more of a leader, and I’ve been more of a scorer, and I’m being more aggressive every game.”
GFRR has two games left (Fargo South and Fargo Shanley) before league play. They are 12-7.
“I’m not sure what are expectations are for the Eastern Dakota Conference tournament,” Polynice said.
“If I had to guess it would be either that we make it to the championship and lose or lose the game to make the championship but I feel like we have a good chance at winning.
“We have showed we can compete with the 1 and 2 seed in East (Davies and West Fargo).
Jordan has had North Dakota State watching a couple of his games as they are talking to him as is Minot State.
