Recruiting Report: Javon Freeman (2018)

Whitney Young 2018 shooting guard <strong>Javon Freeman</strong> is a prospect that has upside.  The long and rangy wing has the ability to impact the game on both ends of the floor.  Slippery through traffic with the ball on the offensive end of the floor and has the ability to be a plus perimeter defender at the next level.  Top 20 prospect in the junior class. Freeman spoke about the transition over from Seton where he played his first two years. “It is going good.  We are winning and playing together.  I am playing good overall.  My role is to help lead the team and be an all-around player.” Freeman currently holds one college scholarship offer. “Loyola offered me.  It is a very good school.  In the city of Chicago and I love Chicago.” Several others are showing interest in him. “Drake, Tulsa, and Green Bay.” Freeman runs with Meanstreets on the circuit.
