He’s been picked up by Seattle-based Washington Supreme to play his 16U spring and summer, and that could enhance his already surging recruitment.
“I went to a showcase down in Portland called Prime Time Top 40, and I got in touch with a couple of coaches from some players that were down there.”
Already, Sullivan has seen letters and fielded calls Portland, Missouri, Utah State, Eastern Washington, Utah, Pepperdine and San Francisco.
He says Portland, Utah State and Missouri are in on him most in the early stages of his recruitment. And he’s visited Portland, Portland State, Utah State and Eastern Washington.
“I’ve been talking to some coaches from all over basically, and this summer I’m just looking to get some more contacts and maybe go on some more visits,” said Sullivan.
A big and versatile wing, Sullivan says his game is predicated on his outside shooting, and he works from the outside-in.
“I’m pretty good at getting to the rim and finishing, and I can take shots off-the-dribble pretty good. I shoot really well from deep, and I can finish through contact. And then I’d say my handles are pretty good for my size,” said Sullivan.
He recently wrapped up his sophomore season with the Blue Devils, and played a pivotal role, averaging 15.5 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 blocks per game.
“I was the shooter on the team, really. I shot a lot 3s this season, and that’s primarily what I did,” said Sullivan. “I took it to the rim sometimes, but I was primarily shooting 3s. And I played all five positions.”
