A 6-foot-3 slasher, Kellah says his ability to get to the rim and finish has improved greatly and is a strength of his now.
“My strength is getting to the rim and finishing at the rim, and getting my teammates involved, really,” he said.
“I need to work on my jump-shot, that’s really what I need to work on most, like finishing high through my follow-through.”
He’s been coming of the bench this season for the Wolverines, and mentioned to PHMI that his role is primarily to be a lockdown defender, and a distributor offensively.
“My role is to lock-up the best player on the other team defensively, and to get my teammates involved on offense,” said Kellah.
“I’m happy with how we’ve played as a team, but individually I’m not as happy; I feel like there’s a lot more I could do.”
As he heads into his final season of grassroots ball, he says the goal is to get as much exposure in front of college coaches as possible.
“I’m really not 100 percent sure yet who I’ll play with; I have plenty of options, but I’m really not sure yet,” said Kellah.”I got a letter from Central Michigan last summer, Davenport talks to me, and Holy Cross emails me.”
Kellah added: “I hope colleges really start to notice me and start texting me and coming to my games.”
