Top Five Performances
- Heart River won their 8th game in nine opportunities crushing Hazen 69-38. Senior forward Zane Besler put up a monster 35 in the win.
- Future Minot State talent Jack Schaefer had 30 points for New Rockford-Sheyenne in a 61-53 win over GCC.
- The duel of the night was in the Hettinger-Scranton game. Junior forward Carson Schalesky led his team to a win with 29 points counter a six three-point make night for Dylan Scott who had 35 for Bowman County. Scott is a junior shooter.
- Dickinson over Mandan 82-72 was expected but after the loss to Century, who Mandan beat, they needed the win and Aanen Moody scored 30 while Tanner Oulette had 24 led by five triples. Trae Steckler exploded for 34 in the loss.
- Garrett Bickett put up 25 but it wasn’t enough to match the 25 from Harvey-Wells junior Harvey Anderson who was supported by the 16 from Peyton Granger.
Top Five Big Wins
- Mary’s beat Bismarck and celebrated strongly with a 72-67 victory. Cole Gendreau scored 20.
- Garrison outlasted Drake-Anamoose 74-68 with Noah Sloka giving his team 23. Noah is a 6-foot-1 senior guard.
- Grant County defeated Center-Stranton 56-44 and a name we are becoming quite familiar with Rayman Zimmerman had 25. Rayman is a sophomore.
- Six-foot-5 junior big Alex Sadowsky had 21 for Killdeer and they needed all of them for their four point victory against Richardton-Taylor.
- Des Lacs Burlington got 26 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists, and 4 steals from Drew Pearson to beat North Star.
Top Five Proving Their Spot
- Playing without his normal running mates Brayden Uses Arrow scored 23 for Solen who was short handed but still beat Underwood by 21.
- Another monster night from Tronis McKay scoring 26 in about 20 minutes for #1 Four Winds-Minnewaukan who beat Warwick 92-34.
- Kenmare has been a top ten team and they are a contender. Strong 69-66 win over Stanley.
- Fargo North has had some struggles but they are still top ten area as they showed last night beating Valley City 71-60.
- Sophomore Chinaza Udekwe put up 22 for Bishop Ryan in an 11 point win over Rugby.
Top Five You Made Your Point!
- Fargo Davies over Wahpeton 71-33.
- HCV over Thompson 71-47 in what was expected to be a big game. It was a blowout instead.
- John over Rolette/Wolford 85-29.
- Dickinson Trinity over Beach 85-46.
- Midway/Minto over Lakota 78-29.
