MVP: Gavin Bizeau (Plainfield)
Bizeau played really well in this game scoring a game high 14 points and grabbing eight boards. He also had four blocks and an assist and never let Cascade get anything going inside on the defensive end. He’s a really good stretch 6’10 kid.
Best offensive performance: Tyler West (Plainfield)
West had nine points on five shots. He didn’t ever press his shot and made the right passes. Made 1/1 from behind the arc and 3/4 from inside the arc. West was solid and made all the right plays.
Best defensive performance: Conner Brens (Plainfield)
Brens was solid inside for Plainfield. He had four rebounds, two steals, two blocks and never let DuBois get going. He played really strong and was a workhorse down low despite sitting out with foul trouble.
Best shooter: Dawson Messer (Plainfield)
Messer came off the bench and was 3/6 from behind the line. He hit two in a row which put Plainfield up by 13 and out of reach of Cascade. Messer is a quick guard who can rip off a couple in a row.
Best under-the-radar performance: Trey Davis (Plainfield)
Davis scored 12 points but also had three steals, a block, and an assist. He played really well and was a great contributor. He had two rebounds but also played great defense on the guards of Cascade. A huge part of the win tonight.
